Date: Saturday, September 27th & Sunday, September 28th.

Time: 10:30a.m. - 3:30p.m.

Where: 360 Pinnacle St. Stephanie Trattner Photography Studio. 

Main training components: Mastering your auditions and working with script

- Improv warm-ups each day to add improv to your talent resume.

- Scripts sent ahead of time for self-tape before and after exercise.

- Filming self-tapes and watch back with live coaching.

- Character development and script work.

- Suggestions for how to continue to train and improve from home.

Lori stumbled into the world of commercial acting seven years ago and now has more than 50 Canadian, US and international television commercials and print campaigns on her résumé. She firmly believes that there is a place for everyone in this diverse industry and that commercial acting is, as a knowledgeable casting director once said “the subtle art of doing nothing, but doing it well”. Putting together a professional self-tape is an important step in getting on casting’s radar. Join Lori to learn the basics of setting up for your self-tape, slating, lighting your space, “breaking down” the breakdown and editing.

Lori & Paul

Paul Massey is an actor and creative from Picton, Ontario. Paul has appeared in print ads and commercials for clients such as Costco, Real Estate, Mini Cooper, Cold-FX, Nordik Spa, Elections Canada, and Unitron. Paul has appeared in TV shows such as Homicide: Hours to Kill, Haunted Hospitals, An Unexpected Killer, Top Million Dollar Agent, and Fear Thy Neighbour, as well as the lead in a local film shot here in Belleville, Ontario, The Woodsmen. Paul is active in the TV/film industry from Ottawa to Toronto, and we are lucky to have him continue to add value and share experiences on a local level.
