This class gives you the roadmap.

The Industry Business Class is designed for aspiring models, actors, dancers, performers, content creators, and creative entrepreneurs who want to understand the business behind the talent.

Because talent is only part of the equation.

Your talent gets you noticed. Your professionalism, preparation, and business skills help you build a career.

Every artist is their own start-up business. Whether you're pursuing modelling, acting, commercial work, runway, content creation, or performance, you need to know how to present yourself, where you fit in the industry, how opportunities work, and what steps to take next.

This class breaks down the industry in a practical, accessible way so you can stop wondering “Where do I even start?” and start making informed decisions about your next steps.

We explore:

• How the modelling and acting industry actually works

• What talent agencies do—and what they don't do

• How to identify legitimate opportunities and representation

• What agencies look for when considering new talent

• How to prepare yourself for representation and professional bookings

• The difference between freelance work, agency representation, local bookings, and international placement

• How to build and present yourself professionally

• The different areas of the industry, including runway, photomovement, commercial work, content creation, TV/film, and more

• How to determine which areas are the best fit for your strengths and goals

• What training, development, and promotion may be valuable for you

• How to think about your career as a creative business—not just a collection of auditions and bookings.

If you're considering working with an agency, this is an excellent place to start.

You'll gain a better understanding of how talent agencies work, what representation can look like, and what to consider when choosing an agency or market.

For those interested in working with Elevation Hall, the class also provides an opportunity to better understand our approach and how talent can become part of our community roster for local bookings or be considered for international placement.

You do not need to be represented by Elevation Hall to take this class.

We welcome aspiring and established talent who are freelance, represented elsewhere, exploring their options, or simply looking to understand the industry before deciding what comes next.

Send us an email. We do an industry business class every quarter for new individuals interested in learning more about the business of modelling and acting. Additionally, you have the option to book this session remotely and work through the contents one-on-one with an industry agent.

There are no refunds on business classes. If you are unable to make the date, you can move to the next scheduled workshop or participate online / or a one-on-one session.
