We often hear agents or brands say, "if you are a commercial model, we need images of you doing something!" Examples of this could be enjoying a cup of coffee, using a beautiful hotel space, exercising, or interacting with other commercial / lifestyle models. 

Adding effective professional commercial and lifestyle images to your portfolio can be difficult; you either are not shooting on location, do not have other models and talent to interact with, or don't get the images back from your lifestyle bookings. This photoshoot is going to cover all of those use cases to add strong, dynamic lifestyle and commercial images to your portfolio to effectively connect with new lifestyle brands and services. This is also a great shoot to partake in if you are working on developing your personal brand and want a content shoot for your online social platforms.

This is an ideal content day for you if the list below describes your target client list:

It is important for models to update their portfolios regularly to feature current trends, styles, and as a means to connect with new clients and guest agencies. Test shoots are also a great way to capture new content that features your personal brand as an artist and as an industry professional.

If you are on the Elevation roster, our approach with this shoot is to follow-up with our lifestyle, commercial, and local clients, share your updated content in our talent package and re-introduce you to the market to have you on their radar for their next content photo or video shoot. If you are not on the Elevation roster, you could use this content to approach lifestyle brands as a freelance model, or provide your agent with this content to update your promotional file with them. 

Art direction, 3 different location rentals / themes, photography, make-up, wardrobe, custom mood board planning, and model coaching all included.

Upon confirming your registration, an Elevation Hall rep will be in touch to confirm your time slot, send a measurement form, and discuss any details for your shoot.

About The Day

Date: Wednesday, July 23rd, 2025.

Location(s): We will discuss with day with you one-on-one. Depending on your mood board, locations include:

  • Benji's cafe
  • The Landing (Bnb & entertainment space with patio)
  • The Local Social House (Restaurant)
  • Waterfront trail

Time: Time slots will be allocated based on your availability. The whole day is reserved with availability after school if needed. You will be busy for approx. 3-3.5 hours altogether. 

The day will start with make-up @ The Landing location.

Sign-up process: Register below with one of the payment options. If you need to break up the payments, email us, and we will create a payment plan for you via e-transfer. Once confirmed, an Elevation Hall rep will contact you to confirm your registration, start-time, and planning session ahead of the shoot.

Pricing options

Regular price includes 6 edited images to update book + the full team at the photoshoot (make-up, direction and photoshoot planning, wardrobe included). Extra images are available for purchase. If you prefer to e-transfer please send to [email protected].

FAQ

  • What should I pack?

    We may ask you to bring a few basic items in your model bag to complement the wardrobe selected for you. An email will go out the week of the shoot reminding you of any items needed for your shoot. Hair and make-up/grooming provided, so arriving well rested and fresh faced is essential.

  • Why should I update my portfolio?

    Clients and agencies want to know what you look like now! This means your test shoots and portfolio images should be updated frequently! Typically, 1-2 times a year update is sufficient when combined with creatives and paid work. Test shoot images can also showcase your booking potential for different markets and different character types.
