Unleash your talent at the Path to Stage and Screen Young Talent course—where aspiring performers take centre stage! 

This dynamic and immersive program is designed for youth who are excited about growing their skills in modelling, acting, music, and dance—the essential pillars of a well-rounded performer. This course is tailored to those curious about being on stage more or considering auditioning to work in the commercial, TV, or Film industries. We heavily focus on self development and confidence building exercises if you're child simply wants to have fun, be in a creative environment, and learn something new.

Led by industry professionals, students will:

  • Get an exciting intro to modelling, including an option for a professional headshot session to jumpstart or elevate your talent portfolio.

  • Runway / Fashion Show technique and choreography. All leading up to a holiday fashion show at the end of the course.

  • Refine acting techniques for stage and screen.

  • Build confidence in audition prep and mock auditions.

  • Train in dance to improve versatility and stage presence.

  • Strengthen vocal performance and storytelling through song and dance.

  • Learn the behind the scenes process of getting ready for a production / showcase. Applicable for fashion shows, theatre, and film shoot days.

Whether you're dreaming of Broadway, film, or fashion shows, this course is your launchpad. All experience levels welcome—just passion and drive! We will get a better sense of how to tailor the curriculum to your level and goals during a preparatory intake call. THE ESSENTIALS:

When: Starting the weekend of November 15th and 16th, ending weekend of December 13th and 14th. Select a Saturday or Sunday option and the schedule will be as follows:

Week 1: November 15th or 16th

Week 2: November 22nd or 23rd

Week 3: November 29th or 30th

Week 4: December 6th or 7th

Week 5 (Showcase): December 13th or 14th

Time: Saturday or Sunday afternoons from 2:00p.m. - 4:00p.m.

Where: Quinte Ballet School, Belleville, Ontario. 196 Palmer Road. (subject to adjustment as Elevation Studio is launched in Belleville).

Showcase: Theatre venue.

Holiday Showcase will include:

☃️Scenes from 'Twas the Night before Christmas.

☃️ Fashion show with holiday music and winter wardrobe.

☃️ Holiday TV Commercials performed by students.

Meet your Educators

Leah Hamilton, Director of Elevation Hall and Elevation Model Management, is passionate about equipping artists with business skills as they take charge of their own careers. Leah has worked in the fashion industry in many roles for 20 years: model, agent, retailer, merchandiser, social media marketing for brands, and BTB sales in the Netherlands. With a special interest and applicable training in Model Movement as a professional dancer and performer, her approach to coaching models & talent is all about getting clients to balance getting into performance mode, while also staying authentic and relaxed on camera. Leah continues to perform and work as a model and theatre artist. In Summer 2025, support her productions of Rodgers and Hammerstein's, "Cinderella", or Théâtre Roulant's, "No Traveller Returns", where Leah will be on stage.

Meet your Educators

All educators are active in the performing arts space and excited to meet our campers!

Abigail Schmitz is a theatre artist and educator. She has worked across the USA and in Canada as a theatre artist on a professional level for nine years acting, directing, and as a dramaturg. In that time, she was also a teaching artist for some theatres. She loved teaching so much that she got certified to be a teacher and was an English and Drama secondary teacher the last three years in the US- even winning teacher of the year at her school the 2023-2024 school year. Abigail was the Education Director and lead teaching artist at Oklahoma Shakespeare's Young Company Camp last summer, and she is very excited to partner with Elevation Hall for their Triple Threat Camp. Notable theatres that Abigail has worked at are Oklahoma Shakespeare and Great River Shakespeare Festival. She is working locally at The Belleville Theatre Guild as a performer and with Théâtre Roulant as a development dramaturg. Support Abigail's next production at The Belleville Theatre Guild where she will be playing the ugly stepsister, Charlotte, in Rodger and Hammerstein's Cinderella, June 5-22. She is looking forward to meeting this year’s Triple Threat Campers!

Sign-up process: Register below, if you need to break up the payments, email us, and we will create a payment plan for you via e-transfer. 

Upon registration: Once we receive your registration, we will send a confirmation email which will include an information packet for parents to review. We may ask to schedule a zoom call with you and your child so we can get to know them a little better before the course starts. This package will include things like 'what to wear', weekly schedule, and possible next steps for your son/daughter once the course is completed if they express wanting to continue modelling or acting in the industry.

  • 🌟 What’s included in the course experience?

    Students experience training in modelling, acting, dance, and vocals, plus audition prep, a professional headshot session, and a showcase to work towards. All materials and resources are included in the course fee.

  • 🌟 Who are the instructors?

    Our faculty includes working industry professionals with experience in stage, screen, music, and fashion—dedicated to coaching the next generation of performers. See our two main educator bios above.

  • 🌟 How do the headshots work?

    Each camper will have a professional headshot session during camp. You’ll receive a retouched digital image, perfect for auditions, resumes, or a modelling profile. A printed version will be showcased at the final performance.

  • 🌟 What should I bring?

    Comfortable dance wear or activewear, indoor shoes or dance shoes, a water bottle, snacks/lunch, and a change of clothes (if needed). A detailed packing list will be provided upon registration.

  • 🌟 Do I need to already by an actor/model to attend?

    No! Whether you're a beginner or have some performance experience, our instructors tailor training to all levels.
