About The Day

For individual sessions, we suggesting booking 2 weeks in advance for planning and coordination purposes.

Summer Test Shoot Day:

Saturday, June 13th, 2026. Time slots from 9:30a.m. - 3:30p.m.

Extra "learn only" day: Saturday, June 27th, 2026.

Package options:

Fashion Test: $600 + HST (3 looks, 6 images). * Payment plan available. If you want an alternative payment plan to pace out payments, please email [email protected] to review options).

Talent Headshots: $480 + HST (2 looks, 4 images). Payment plans available.

One look shoot: $450 + HST (1 look, 3 images).

Model Digitals: $175 + HST (2 looks, 6-8 images).

NEW: LEARN ONLY: $200 + HST (1 hour of posing and expression coaching on set. Posing technique and social media content from the session)

Sometimes you do not need a whole portfolio update or headshots, but you do need to practice your skills. Book a 'learn only' session to do just that. Apply posing, expression, and movement takeaways to your next booking, social media content, or personal photoshoot.

Personal time slots:

Book a personal date and time slot with our team. 

Personal time slots may be subject to a $30 + HST booking fee towards studio rental or make-up, as the headshots are typically booked on a bulk rate.

Time: Time slots will be allocated based on your availability. The whole day is reserved with availability after school if needed. You will be at the studio for approx. 2-3 hours altogether. 

Sign-up process: Register below with one of the payment options. If you need to break up the payments, email us, and we will create a payment plan for you via e-transfer. Once confirmed, an Elevation Hall rep will contact you to confirm your registration, start-time, and planning session ahead of the shoot.

Elevate your portfolio and promotional material for Summer 2026!

It is important for models, actors, and creatives to update their portfolios regularly to feature current trends, styles, and as a means to connect with new clients and guest agencies. Test shoots are also a great way to capture new content that features your personal brand as an artist and as an industry professional.

With this session upload new images to all of your casting platforms and start 2026 off strong.

Photography, hair and make-up, wardrobe, custom mood board planning, and model coaching all included!

One look Update (Headshots or Model Testing) = 2 edited images.

Option to purchase additional edits.

Looks, moodboards, and packing lists will be specified and laid out ahead of time with Leah during your planning session for the shoot.

Upon confirming your registration, an Elevation Hall rep will be in touch to confirm your time slot, send a measurement form, and discuss any details for your shoot.

Pricing options

Regular price includes edited images to update book + the full team at the photoshoot (studio rental, hair, make-up, photography, pose coaching, and wardrobe included). Extra images are available for purchase. We will use this time to also review or set-up your promotion profile for bookings. Pay online or via e-transfer to [email protected]

FAQ

  • What should I pack?

    We may ask you to bring a few basic items in your model bag to complement the wardrobe selected for you. An email will go out the week of the shoot reminding you of any items needed for your shoot. Hair and make-up/grooming provided, so arriving well rested and fresh faced is essential.

  • Why should I update my portfolio?

    Clients and agencies want to know what you look like now! This means your test shoots and portfolio images should be updated frequently! Typically, 1-2 times a year update is sufficient when combined with creatives and paid work. Test shoot images can also showcase your booking potential for different markets and different character types.
